1974 Volkswagen Beetle Love Bug

This is an incredible, all original, and well documented 1974 Volkswagen Beetle Love Bug. 

The Love Bug was a special offer model by Volkswagen and only 10 vehicles were issued to each dealership. The Love Bug was only offered in two colors: Luscious Lime Green and Red-Hot Red.

Famous movies featuring the Beetle Love Bug were The Love Bug in 1968 and Herbie Rides Again in 1974.  These movies helped to create an American passion for the Volkswagen Beetle Love Bug.

This 1974 Beetle Love Bug has the original Luscious Lime Green paint that is still original. The factory black energy absorbing bumpers, moldings, door handles, and headlight trim are all still in good condition except for the rear bumper that has a tear. The wheels are the factory sport wheels measuring 15.

Interior is black with factory front adjustable bucket seats and inertia type front seat belts.

Engine is the factory 4 cylinder with 4-speed manual transmission.

Other factory options to note are: flow-through ventilation, heater and defroster, front stabilizer, four-wheel independent suspension, and fuel gauge.

This 1974 Volkswagen has all service records since it was purchased in 1974. The point of entry was Maryland and this Beetle was sold at a dealership in South Carolina. It also comes with the original window sticker.
