1970 Chevrolet Impala Convertible

 
The 1970 Chevrolet Impala is a significant model in the history of Chevrolet?s full-size car line-up and represents the fifth generation of the Impala nameplate, which ran from 1965 to 1970. It retained its long, sleek design of the last generation of the Impala and had a more squared-off look compared to earlier models. Only 9,562 convertible models were produced for the 1970 year.

This 1970 Impala convertible is a stunning car. It has been returned to its former glory and was professionally rebuilt.  The exterior exhibits vibrant yellow paint that was expertly applied. The black canvas top is brand new. This car was solid to begin with. 

The interior is the black bench seat vinyl interior. Door panels are original. The dashboard is in excellent condition.

The engine is the 350 CID and it was professionally rebuilt, The automatic transmission was also rebuilt. Options include power steering, power brakes, power windows, factory A/C that blows cold (conversion to R134) , and reproduction AM/FM radio. 

The hubcaps are the original ones and all tires are brand new with less than 200 miles. 

This Chevy Impala starts easily and runs very well.  It is a head-turner and quite popular at shows and cruise-ins. Car is in North Carolina not that far from the North and South Carolina border. It is available for viewing by appointment only.
