It s a true gem, retaining its original Caspian Blue color, original floor pans, and original sheet metal. The car is straight as an arrow.
The Caspian blue paint has been professionally applied and exhibits in exellent condition. The chrome, badges, and trim are all in excellent and shiny new condition. All glass is clear.
The prior owner replaced the interior with a blue and white Pony interior which is much more desirable. Door panels and seats feature white inserts. The headliner is white and in excellent condition. The back seat folds down and that part is blue with shiny stainless trim.
Engine is the original 289 CID and is paired with the factory automatic transmission, console shifter. The engine has been rebuilt as well as the transmission. A new dual exhaust was installed. The Rally wheels and tires are new and add great curb appeal.
Options are a Mustang radio with a cassette player, cigarette lighter, ashtray, and heat, and fuel and temperature gauges.
The undercarriage is solid and clean, presents very well.
This Mustang has been lovingly maintained and garaged. It is in show driver condition and will do very well at shows and cruise ins. The car is in North Carolina, about 1.5 hours from Charlotte. It is available for viewing by appointment only.
