1962 Ford Galaxie XL Convertible

This is a great 1962 Ford Galaxie XL convertible that was originally purchased in Billings Montana.  The current owner bought the 62 Galaxie in 2002. 

The exterior is white and the car has had one repaint. The new convertible top is also white and it has the original parade cover.

The red interior is a nice contrast to the white exterior. Interior has had new carpet and and the seats were reupholstered. The door panels, the dash, and the roof well liner, are also original.

The engine is the original 390 cubic inch and it is paired with the original 3-speed automatic transmission. Engine was rebuilt, as well as the front suspension. The radiator has the original top and bottom tanks, the core is new.

Options include a working heater, functional radio, and power steering that has been refurbished. 

Recent work done to the car is new rear leaf springs and bushings. The brake booster and master cylinder are new.

All lights work and the mile show 127,000 believed to be original.
