1956 Ford Crown Victoria

The Ford Crown Victoria was named for its regal crown trim that wrapped around the roofline. Stunning and beautiful, it the Crown Vic became Ford's flagship model in the mid 1950's. The blend of bold design with luxurious comfort made it a perfect symbol of post-war optimism. The design inspiration was derived from the growing fascination with jet-age aesthetics and chrome laden glamour.

This 56 Ford Crown Victoria is gorgeous. The original Goldenrod yellow and Colonial White paint is in excellent condition with no visible flaws. All chrome and trim is also in excellent new condition. The color combination is emblematic of the era's vibrant paint colors. The car's sleek wraparound windshield makes it standout.

The interior is new, and all the components are in excellent condition. The seats are white with striking black seat inserts. The dash is black and adds an elegant touch. All gauges and instruments are in great condition with clear glass.

The engine is the original 292 CID 4bbl. It has been professionally rebuilt. Transmission is the manual 3-speed with overdrive and column shift. The overdrive-equipped manual transmission was prized for versatility, offering better fuel economy for long distance trips.
