This is a great opportunity to own a rare 1965 Buick GS 400 convertible. It is an extremely nice driver with only 52,000 miles. The prior owner had this car since new for 37 years and it was stored in temperature storage. This was the first year of Buicks GS production and it was the first Buick muscle car.
Exterior is red and the paint is above average. The chrome and trim presents very well. The black convertible top is brand new with brand new mechanicals.
Interior is a black bucket seat console interior and it is the original interior. All components are in excellent original condition.
Engine is the 401 CID that Buick renamed the 400. Engine compartment has been totally detailed to factory specs. The transmission is automatic with a floor shifter.
The Buick Gran Sport package included Buicks 325 BHP 401 CID V8 engine and the Wildcat 445 air cleaner referred to the torque output. Also included in the package was dual exhaust and a heavy-duty radiator.
Options include power steering and power drum brakes. The brakes are brand new all the way around. Car starts, runs, and drives with excellent performance and has been very well maintained.
